Following the recent success of the senior interleague program, the Eastern Football League’s next generation prepares for their chance to showcase their talent on the big stage. More than 150 players will represent the EFL in this year’s AFL Victoria Metro Junior Championships.
The League will field two sides in the following divisions – under-14 boys, under-15 boys and under-15 girls.
The championships commence under lights on May 31 with the majority of the carnival to be played over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend (Saturday, June 10 and Monday, June 12).
‘Home’ games for the Eastern Football League boys will be played at Bayswater Oval (May 31) and Walker Park, Mitcham (June 10 and 12) while the Eastern Region Girls’ side will call Pat Wright Senior Oval, Noble Park home on May 31 and June 12.
