Aaron Mullett started his junior career playing for Mooroolbark. Moving clubs, the left footer than progressed to Vermont, where his performances stood out enough to earn a spot in the TAC Cup for the Eastern Ranges.
Playing alongside the likes of Jonathon Patton and Hayden Crozier, Mullett was overlooked for the 2010 National Draft despite averaging 20 disposals a game and also representing Vic Metro.
North Melbourne swooped to pick up Mullett in the rookie draft with its second selection.
